Nothing here creates a physician-patient relationship. 2. Pricing is research, not a quote

All prices, cost ranges, and savings figures on this site — including calculator output — are typical 2026 ranges compiled from publicly available sources. They are estimates for research purposes only. They are not quotes, offers, or guarantees of price or availability. Actual costs vary by surgeon, hospital, implant, complexity, length of stay, and individual circumstance, and only a licensed provider who has evaluated you can give you a real price.

3. No endorsement of providers

Any reference to a hospital, surgeon, clinic, or facility is informational. We do not endorse, certify, or vouch for the competence, licensure, or outcomes of any provider. You are solely responsible for independently verifying credentials — through ReTHUS for Colombian physician licensure and the Joint Commission International directory for hospital accreditation — and for satisfying yourself as to suitability before receiving care. Note that JCI accreditation applies to hospitals and organizations, never to individual practitioners.

4. Referral relationships

We operate as a referral business and may receive compensation when a referral results in a booking or engagement. This does not increase what you pay and does not change the cost information published here, but you should know it exists when weighing our content.

5. Assumption of risk

Medical travel involves risks beyond those of domestic care: variation in regulatory standards, difficulty pursuing legal remedies across borders, complications arising after you return home, travel-related health risks including thromboembolism after surgery, and language and continuity-of-care barriers. You accept these risks. Any agreement for medical services is solely between you and the provider, and we are not a party to it.

We link to external sites we do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scout Theory LLC and its officers and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of this site or any medical care you obtain. The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us directly or USD $100.

9. Governing law
